Every active US wildfire, live from interagency fire command. The WFIGS current-incidents feed — the National Interagency Fire Center's authoritative operational picture — parsed into clean JSON and edge-cached 15 minutes: 425 incidents right now totaling 4.87 million acres, each with name and unique fire identifier, state and county, acres burned, percent contained, discovery and containment times, incident type (wildfire / prescribed burn / complex), cause, assigned personnel, geographic coordination center and coordinates. Sort the national list by size (BIG GRASS in Malheur County, Oregon: 578,637 acres, 94% contained, 226 personnel), filter by state, type, minimum acres or active-only, ask for incidents within a radius of any point (Boise → the SHEEP fire, 45 km away, discovered an hour ago), or pull per-state totals. Safety and evacuation apps, insurance risk, logistics routing, air-quality context, newsrooms and dashboards — the same feed fire agencies use, without the GIS wrangling. US coverage.
