The complete US civil aircraft registry, straight from the FAA and refreshed daily: 316,483 registered aircraft with tail number, serial number, owner name and address, make, model, year, seats, horsepower, airworthiness classification, registration status and Mode S transponder codes. Every record carries the Mode S hex code (icao24), so ADS-B trackers can resolve any transponder they hear to a real registration in one call. Look up N172SP and get its 1977 Cessna R172K story with engine specs; search Delta Air Lines and page through its 1,100+ aircraft fleet; filter Cirrus aircraft registered in Tennessee since 2020; rank states or manufacturers by registration counts (Texas leads, Cessna dominates). Coded FAA fields arrive decoded into plain English — registrant types, aircraft types, engine types, all 40+ status codes — with the raw codes preserved for compliance work. Registrations and deregistrations sync daily from the FAA releasable database, so ownership changes land within a day.
